Halloween Nails 10-5-10

So these are my current nails I've been sporting around for a while. I had just gotten in some Halloween decals from Ebay and I was really shocked at how cute they were! So for a simple nail I decided to layer a random nail polish I found at a gas station (lol), which is a UV pink (it glows in black light!) over N.Y.C.'s Polyester Pink. Polyester Pink is a personal drug store favorite of mine :o)

Venomous Villains

Ok so I had heard about this collection earlier in the summer and I was soo freaking excited! I'm a bit of a Disney geek but I've always had a soft spot for the evil villains. They are as beautiful as they are cruel. So when I heard about this I knew I was going to run out and get what I could early so I wouldn't be left at the counter sad face lacking pretty villians . I passed on the nail polish this time out mostly because it was sold out (lol) but also because I've seen swatches of both Formidable! and Mean & Green. And people I must say, they are complete dupes of both Orly’s Galaxy Girl and Space Cadet. I’m saddened that they were out of Bad Fairy which I would have gotten …But in the end I did get my most coveted items.

Maleficent Collection: Beauty Powder -Briar Rose
Mineralize Eyeshadow Duo - My Dark Magic
Mineralize Eyeshadow Duo - She Who Dares

Cruella de Vil Collection: Eyeshadow – Carbon

Evil Queen Collection: Powder Blush – Bite of Apple

And Here are a few swatches I did. I'm NW20 in case you are wondering :).

Hurray for Vanessa!

I'm sooo proud of my best friend Vanessa! About a year ago this girl was tripping out because I managed to get her to put on Done Out in Deco by O.P.I. plus one teeny tiny clear rhinestone at the top of her ring finger. She had never put on such a crazy color. Now… she’s fast learning how to do nail art and her nail polish collection is growing steadily. Some of her colors now consist of teals, purples and even green! The scandal! (She’s been a berry girl most of her life :)) So I proudly present her latest efforts, which she designed and executed all on her own.

Main color is Claire's Mood Color Changing Nail Polish in Peaceful/Confident and the dots were done using Dazzle by Orly. The flowers are decals and she used turquoise rhinstones for accent.

First Halloween Nails of 2010!

I mean't to post a lil haul I did but I can't seem to get good pics. I'll keep trying though :) In the meantime all I have to offer is my first Halloween nail theme I have for the month of October. I'll try to do mostly nail art this month but I'm sure I'll end up doing a solid color or two (but they will always be Fall/Halloweeney (^_^) type colors) The first design done in honor of the festivities are my True Blood inspired nails. I love Eric Northman and when I found some ebay decals of his gorgeous face I had to have them! I had no real clue what else I was going to do other than add the title True Blood to my thumb which I got the idea from an extremely talented (and nice :D ) blogger named Melissa. Her nails are simply amazing...

You can find more of her daily doses of awesome Here

I guess it's silly on my part to post such awesome nail pics only to be followed by my badly lit pics with horrible cuticles. :S Anyhoo no matter here are my current but soon to go bye bye Eric nails...

Main color on the four nails is Savvy - French White White. The stripes were done using a nail art polish called Art Deco - Black and the red blood was done using Art Deco - Red Glitter. Main thumb color used was Wet 'n' Wild - Black Creme.
